Applications are invited from Severn NTN holders,  for Clinical Radiology Sub-Specialty Training in Interventional Radiology.  The post will rotate through North Bristol NHS Trust, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, (Cheltenham/Gloucester) and Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.   The posts are suitable for current trainees wishing to practice in Interventional Radiology.  Posts to commence 5th August 2022.

This is an RCR accredited 4th/5th/6th year post, for three years and provides the opportunity for comprehensive training in all aspects of Interventional Radiology, in line with the GMC approved Interventional Radiology curriculum. The post has Royal College of Radiologists’ approval and conforms to the curriculum outlined in the college document ‘Sub-specialist training in Clinical Radiology’.  Training may be varied depending on the interests of the appointee.  

This post is open to Severn NTN Holders only, with successful completion of clinical radiology training to ST3 level confirmed by ARCP outcome 1, and passed FRCR 2A prior to starting post in August 2022.

The appointment(s) will be subject to yearly assessment/appraisal. 

The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and/or programme has the required educational and dean’s approval.
